Ikotwe Construction was established in 1992 by the current managing Director, Andreas van Tonder, in White River. The name “Ikotwe” is derived from the very first type of construction Andreas attempted man-alone, which was wooden construction. Starting with wooden decks and jungle gym’s, the wooden house in Diamant Street, White River, was the first house ever build by Ikotwe Construction
In the meantime Ikotwe has expanded to become a successful company, often approached by the corporate market for projects. In 2013, Charl Stassen, who has been with Ikotwe since 2002, became a director of the company.
We are proud of the contribution we have made to the development of the area between Nelspruit and White River. Although we have done quite a few projects within the city of Nelspruit and in White River, Sabie and Graskop, a large percentage of our work can be viewed from the R40 between Nelspruit and White River.
Our motto is “teamwork”. From labourer to MD, all have to work together to have an end result we can all be proud of. At the end of a project, we want to be able to look the client in the eye without having doubt about our workmanship.
What have been accomplished to date is nothing but Grace. We also rely on our Heavenly Father for the future.
